The world, as we now know it, no longer exists—where once stood the borders of states, countries, and provinces has given way to new boundaries, much like countries or medieval kingdoms, of which are known as Sectors. Each and every Sector is under control of one single Monarch residing in the Aurum Sector, who is accompanied by a select few, ancient Vampires of whom make up the Vampire Council. It is this setting of which the world takes place in, however I implore everyone to read below, to have a full understanding of the plot.

Vampires have been present upon this earth since the very dawn of time, with the certain creation of mankind—whether they decided to disguise themselves as humans or remain in hiding, that was their own choice entirely; and, it is due to this fact that they remained nothing more than a myth, in human’s eyes. Vampires, for years, have been purely creatures of fiction—that is, until they began arriving in the hundreds.
Like the sudden arrival of a tornado, vampires began appearing more frequently, and of all ages—and with them, came the inevitable death of countless humans. As the numbers began to balance, the vampire population growing rapidly as the species fought to create more of their breed to gain their rightful place in power, humans began to falter, easily being imprisoned or killed off by these strange, apex predators. Some believed the world was ending, while others took fate into their own hands, fighting back against the supposed monsters of who displayed a dangerous, venomous greed and cannibalistic nature. The humans did as best as they could, but when your opponent cannot perish and are in the millions, the odds tend to stack relentlessly against you.
And so, with the arrival of a male vampire in hopes of eradicating humans brought the departure of the world’s most thriving species the planet had ever seen.
With the Government quickly overthrown and the world reverted back to an ancient, medieval Monarchy, it placed power into the hands of the male Vampire of whom masterminded the entire takeover, a nasty individual of whom had only ghoulish intents in mind. From the time the takeover had begun in 2000, the world had fallen to Vampires completely by 2011, and by the beginning of 2012 the human race was nearly extinct, due to the hunters of which thirsted so feverishly for their blood.
Currently, in 2013, humans are very rarely seen, let alone located or tracked, and the ones that have survived have formed groups that flock to survival camps, which are forts dedicated to sustaining human life even through the near destruction of the species. They are extremely hidden and, even to vampires who specialize in hunting, are hardly ever discovered. It is this fact, the Vampires inability to locate the humans, which has the Monarch increasingly nervous, thus inspiring several operations in attempt to locate them. Offering them guaranteed safety in exchange for their unyielding loyalty, the Monarch has begun taking in humans open to the deal as “pets,” who take up jobs such as blood donors and maids. These humans are marked with a particular item of clothing, and therefore off-limits to the hungry vampires that await outside the castle walls.
To grow his power, wishing for it to blossom into something more heinously devastating, the Monarch also began creating his own, manufactured breed of Vampire—he was the first Onyx Vampire of which ever lived, and, using his genes in order to make it possible, he’s begun creating other vampires like himself; stronger, faster, more efficient. These Onyx Vampires are the new Elite of the world, and are being created in the hundreds.

Peace between the humans in hiding and the Vampires hangs tenuously in place, and though facing an army of Vampires is hardly a good idea, humans are growing increasingly angered with their place as inferiors. What role will you play, in this madness? Either way, you’re surely going to have to show me your teeth.
