Silva laughed as Alix nudged his shoulder. He followed him to a bench inside an empty gazebo in the park. He stopped as Alix picked a bench to sit down on and moved to sit at the spot offered to him. He chuckled nervously when Alix said that he didn’t know much about him. ” Where are you from? Have you been here long? What do you do?" “ He hesitated for a second. Should he tell him? Should he leave things out? Lies never helped, so Silva smiled at Alix and explained he was an only child from a home where his mother was home all the time and his father was retired from the military. ”I accepted the change when I was 18-19 years old. I was a human before I was chosen to be a vampire.” He also explained how his father wasn’t exactly the most accepting, “He was very traditional in most of his views, although it wasn’t until much later that he was accepting of me. He didn’t like that I was both a vampire and gay… He kind of….gave me the scar on my face.”He scratched the back of his head before moving to rest his head on Alix’s shoulder and moved to take his hand again, ”It’s still hard to think about them without remembering all of the bad stuff that happened…. And I’m rambling…. Sorry.” He smiled slightly, “Job wise, I don’t have one at the moment, but I like art. I haven’t found a job that fits what I want to do with it though. I don’t really want to teach it, but at the same time I want to help people who have an interest in it.” He sighed, “I’m not making any sense, am I?” He closed his eyes for a few seconds in frustration before opening them again.

Alix listened intently to Silva speak about his past, his brows drew together a bit when he mentioned that his father wasn’t very accepting of him. To think his own father gave him that scar across his handsome features was saddening. It made Alix want to pull Silva into his arms to give him a hug. It was easy to forget that though Alix was left at an orphanage as an infant, he still grew up with a loving influence. He was so very lucky to have the vampire nun that raised him. Looking back at it now, being homosexual was against the rules of the church but Alix was sure if his “mother” of a nun knew she’d love him all the same anyway. He was very lucky.
When Silva laid his head upon his shoulder, Alix adjusted the way he was sitting a little bit to make the action a little more comfortable for Silva. Instinctively his hand that was not holding Silva’s came up to gently touch the side of his face, his palm touching Silva’s cheek as his fingertips slid through the hair right behind his ear in a small comforting sweeping motion. Oh the pain that this man must keep in side, it hurt Alix’s heart just to think of it. He listened to Silva when he continued to talk about his employment status. Alix wondered for a moment if he should just out right tell him that he was an owner of a big company and really never would need to worry about money or if he should just leave that fact out for a little while. Not that Alix wanted to lie to Silva, no he just didn’t want him to feel like he was inferior for being without a job at the current time.
“You are making perfect sense.” He cupped Silva’s cheek with his hand as he turned his own head so that he could look into Silva’s eyes. What beautiful eyes this man had, so deep and intriguing. “You love art. Why don’t you open a studio?” Alix could get lost in how handsome he thought Silva’s features were, scared and all. “You could hold art classes for those that would like to learn.” Alix’s voice was low and soft, there was no need for loudness when they were so delightfully close to each other. So very close.
Alix’s mouth watered and his eyes flicked to Silva’s slips for a second. He wondered if Silva would protest if he kissed him right here and right now. Maybe it was the alcohol that still pumped through him or maybe he was just feeling brave. Either way he inched his face forward, his lips parting just slightly with anticipation he paused a moment to look into those captivating eyes. Alix then closed the very small distance between them and pressed his lips against Silva’s. It wasn’t like Alix to be making such advances on a man he just met, but he just couldn’t help himself. The hand that hand been cupping his cheek gently touched the back of Silva’s neck as Alix kissed him. His hand that had been holding Silva’s came up to rest upon Silva’s chest.
It took a lot of will power on Alix’s part, but some how he managed to release Silva’s lips. His heart felt as if it was going to beat itself out of his chest and his stomach felt like it was full of butterflies. “I’m sorry…I…” Alix tried to slow his breathing. “Forgive me for being so forward.” Leave it to Alix to apologize for giving the man a kiss.

Silvanus sighed as Alix ran his fingers over the hair behind his ear, feeling very safe with him. He never really felt this since his parents. He smiled when Alix said he made sense and then chuckled at the thought of opening his own studio and turned his head with Alix’s hand, “That sounds nice actually. But would people like what I create and willing to teach? That’s another story entirely.” He hated that he sounded like he didn’t have faith in his abilities but he couldn’t help it. He’d been doing it for a while and it was a hard habit to break. And by habit, he meant hiding his skills.
Alix was very close to him, when did that happen? He was also getting closer…. And closer… He had a small inkling of what Alix was going to do. He had butterflies suddenly appear in his stomach, and tried to force his nervousness down out of his throat. Wasn’t it a little early for this? Maybe. Did he care? Not really.
Then his own lips met Alix’s and… it was amazing. He doesn’t remember the last time he was kissed, but he was pretty sure it didn’t feel like this one did. He brought a hand up to the base of Alix’s neck and twined his fingers through the hair at the base of his neck. To sound cheesy, he didn’t really want it to end but Silva felt Alix move back and he gave him a confused look. The butterflies didn’t go away, but he rolled his eyes at the apology, “I didn’t mind.” He winked at Alix with a smile and kissed the corner of his mouth. Forward his ass, Alix was perfectly fine, “Mind doing it again?” He blushed slightly when he realized what just came out of his mouth, but it was too late to take it back now.

Alix's smile widened when Silva dismissed his apology, it calmed the fear of being too forward that he felt bubbling up inside his chest. He didn't want to mess this up right off the bat. He liked Silva, a lot even though they had only known each other for a few hours. It was cute they way that Silva placed a reassuring kiss on the corner of his mouth, it made the tension and worry melt away instantly. But it was Silva now that was blushing and Alix tried not to giggle a little.
Did he want to do it again? What a silly question! Of course he did, he wanted to kiss those soft lips all night, even when there were more things he wanted to talk about with Silva. The art studio for example. Silva had talent, Alix was sure of it not matter how much Silva tried to down play it. An art studio would do well with Silva's touch. Alix had an eye for good business investments and he was sure a studio would be in their future. Their future? He almost scolded himself mentally for putting the cart before the house so to speak. He'd just met Silva and he was already making plans, it was just like Alix to get overly excited about new things.
He licked his lips and smiled at Silva. "Of course I don't mind." His finger caressed the side if Silva's face. "You know...you are very handsome." Alix couldn't help but smile softly and leaned in a little closer once more. "I could kiss your lips a million times and not tire of it." He whispered softly to Silva before taking his lips once again. This time be allowed himself to kiss with a little more urgency, a little deeper and with more feeling. He just couldn't help the spark of desire that Silva set off in him. Usually Alix was the cool and collected one, dealing with his OCD and little quirks while trying to maintain a relationship, but with Silva things were different. Yeah at first he worried about what sitting in this park bench would do to his suit, but the worry quickly dissipated when he relaxed with Silva there.
The hand that had rested upon Silva's chest just moments before, gently grabbed the fabric of his shirt pulling him gently closer to him. Alix would never purposely damage an article of clothing, but his body just needed Silva to be closer. As with every passionate kiss one has to come up for air and Alix had to do just that, though releasing those lips was hard for him to do. He didn't lean back this time, no he had slipped his arm around Silva's waist and gently nuzzled his neck placing soft kisses there. If he didn't stop himself now he'd be pulling articles of clothing of in no time.
Alix tired to compose himself, but stayed nuzzled up against Silva. "You've got me all coming undone." He laughed softly against Silva. "I'm not complaining...I'm just..." He searched for the right words but all he could do was smile and laugh. "I'm just very happy about they way this night has gone..."

Silva was relieved when Alix said he didn't mind kissing again, but when he called him handsome, he couldn't help but be surprised. He knew it would take a long time to get over feeling like he was a freak. The scar on his face he felt was his biggest flaw and it made him feel like a monster. It made him feel like people just saw the scar when they looked at him, not the person behind it. People thought he was a lot more intimidating than he really was, and it felt like he had to live up to that expectation. He liked that Alix didn't see any of that. And when he whispered something about never being tired of kissing him before kissing him, Silva couldn't remember exactly what was said, the kiss knocked him for a loop. Alix seemed to feel the same way he did he thought as he kissed him back, feeling better than he had in years.
He felt Alix's hand pull at his shirt, making him move closer. He moved his hands to rest on Alix's hips as he felt him break the kiss. He almost frowned and expected him to move back again, but instead he felt an arm wrap around his waist and kisses on his neck. He smiled and wrapped his arms around Alix's waist. He chuckled with Alix and kissed his head. "Me too, I didn't expect to go out, but I wouldn't change a thing about tonight." He swallowed when he felt his nerves come back, "Would you like to go out? On a official date? The museum has a "History of Jazz" exhibit this month. If you'd like to go, that is." He didn't want to pull out of the embrace but he wanted to see Alix's reaction. Was asking too sudden- Who cares, he thought, I want to spend more time with him!

The feeling of Silva’s arms around his waist made Alix’s heart skip a beat and his face flush. It was such an unexpected feeling after Alix’s long list of relationships where he felt so unattached to whoever was his partner at the time. This closeness with Silva was very much welcomed tonight and it took the usually calm and collected singer by surprise. Alix was so much more relaxed that he had been in so long he had forgotten how nice it felt. His eyes that had slipped closed as Silva kissed the top of his head, blinked open when he felt a change in Silva, tightness all of a sudden in his body? He blinked confused for just mere seconds until Silva’s questions registered in his brain. Oh a date?! A smile spread across his lips immediately and he sat up a bit so that he could see Silva’s face and Silva seemed to do the same.
“An official date?” Alix couldn’t help his smile as he replied. “Of course, that sounds wonderful.” Alix sat up a bit more even though he didn’t want to put more distance between them then he had to. The night was starting to come to an end and he could see the sky was just barely starting to lighten with the impending sunrise. “Silva I could sit with you here all night…and it looks like we have almost done that already,” he looked from Silva to the sky and back again. “But I’m not ready to leave your company…so how about you walk me home?” Alix smiled at Siva as got up off the bench and brushed his suit off, making it all straight again without even thinking about it. He offered a hand to Silva. “We can walk and talk some more.”
Alix would gladly slip his finger back in between Silva’s once again, pressing his palm against his. Alix didn’t live too far from the park but it would take them a bit to walk there, Ailx owned several cars but usually chose to walk where he needed to go. It always made him feel grounded and clearheaded. Right now he was more than happy to share that walk home with Silva. Or should he have offered to walk Silva home? He hadn’t thought of that. A spark of regret flitted through him for a brief moment.
