Silva visited this place when he first came here. It's only been a few days, but he liked to come here to think. It was quite peaceful here, and whenever he came here he wrote a note to his parents on a piece of paper. But instead of keeping it, he burnt it. He pulled a cigarette out of the pack in his front pocket, lit it and took a few puffs before letting it rest in his mouth as he wrote the letter. He told them how much he missed them, how he was doing, how he found this place. Mom used to love doing this. They used to write letters to his grandparents all the time, then throwing them into the fire. It was mostly during the holidays, but now he does it whenever he can.
He signed it and took out his lighter. He folded the note and took the cigarette out of his mouth and tapped the ashes off before putting it back in. He flicked his lighter open on his jeans then back up in a swift motion, lighting the flame and keeping his thumb still as he lit the piece of paper on fire. He set the page down on the pavement in front of him and watched as the page blackened and shrank until it was nothing but ashes. He picked them up and watched them blow away in the wind. He stubbed the cigarette out under his foot and flicked it into a nearby trash can.
He pulled out his sketch book and flipped to the page with a fountain and continued sketching the area around him. The amount of vampires around him was different though than when he started the sketch, but he tries to remember them. If he couldn't, then he'd erase the person and just sketch in the missing pieces. He scratched his right cheek and he felt his scar move at a the scratch. He scowled which pulled at it even more. He hated that he had such a huge and ugly looking feature. Sure never helped with trying to get a date, everybody wanted a boyfriend with "handsome" features. Features like smooth skin and crap. He groaned and banged his head on his sketch book. It was an important part of him, why couldn't they see that? Not like he could get surgery and get it removed without getting an even worse scar (he already researched this). He closed his eyes and put his head in his hands and just sat there like that for a while.

The night became days and days became night, the world became a dark place for humanity, and gave little desire for one who was such to return to the places that held memory. A walk here, a walk there, every place could bring back the memories of what one had lost. Painful, dark, lonely memories that gave little care of whether or not you were human or vampire. Life moved on, if one would really call it life anymore, it was more of a supressed existence for this one.
Night or Day, time did not matter to Wilhelm any longer in the sense of numbers or the rising and falling of the sun. No, time to him went upon instinct as most of his behaviors did these days. The instinct and will to survive. Free from the binds of slavory and the fangs of the reapers. On this day his instincts took him a little further from his intended goal, but memories were addictive. They drew you to them like the sweet promise of a siren's song. Such was the case with Wilhelm this day.
The park was rightfully named as there were many memories there, his own, and those of others of course. He could remember passing the area many times before the darkness fell upon the world as it had. "Ahh.. Ashes to ashes." his soft voice would ring out as the wind trailed the scent of burning paper to his nose. It was not a strong scent, but one that made him remember of the years past when he and his family would go camping. A hand rose into the air, as if he were to catch the ashes, though that was impossible for him. Instead it merely blew past his hands, that wind, tossing his long hair into it's path carrying his scent through the air with it.
Those pale eyes turned their gaze toward the nearby sound of scratching. The kind of sound that was made by paper when a certain amount of friction was placed to it. The sound of an artist. It was an interesting sound, but one that he had not hear in some time. Curiousity fell upon Wilhelm as he saw the image of a man, slamming his face into a sketch book, in a rather animated fashion. Then placing his head into his hands as he did, part of him told him to run away, to flee. Yet how could he when such a man seemed so troubled?
It reminded him of a certain one that he'd grown smitten with and perhapas that was the reason he went against better judgement in slowly approaching the area this man sat. "Are you alright?" he voice would ring out. His slender fingers toying with a necklace that hung about his neck, his fingertips rubbing lightly upon the spider's blue-bulbed bottom, "Good art does not deserve to be abused and nor does a face of art either." he stated gently. The fear was slightly lingering in his tone, but he tried his best not to show it.
After all, this man could be one of those he feared the most, so he had to be careful of this.

Silva heard someone walk up, but didn't pay them any attention, thinking it was just the other people in the park until he heard them talk to him. He looked up to see a human standing near him, playing with the strange necklace around his neck. The vampire smiled, "I'm fine." He lied and nodded a little to the other thing the human said before rubbing his forehead, "Guess the whack to the head will leave a mark... not that it matters with the other one...." He mutters the last part, subconsciously rubbing at his scar before quickly moving his hand away when he realized what was doing. If he kept touching his scar, people were going to notice it faster!
He motioned to a place on the bench, "You can sit down, if you like." He closed and rubbed the front cover of his sketch book with his thumb, fake leather on the hard cover ripped in a few places where he either dropped it or it got caught on a sharp corner. The binding was also a little banged up. He didn't know why he was studying his sketch book- Oh yes, now he remembered, he's shy! He hated that.
Silva wondered what a human was doing walking around, he didn't know much about this place and didn't know if humans were allowed to walk around town and whatnot. He flipped his sketchbook back open to a blank page and started sketching something, it quickly turning into his mother's face. His heart jumped and he quickly slammed the book shut and sighed. "What brought you here? I-if you don't mind my asking?" He scratched the back of his neck, he wasn't a people person, he lived a quiet life mostly, "My name is Silvanus, but everyone calls me Silva."

Staring at the man wilhelm would find himself growing more curious by the passing moment. Watching him as he was watched, though he almost recoiled his efforts at that look alone, not really sure whether or not he should trust that this man was not one of those who would harm him. To the smile he seemed a little startled, that is until the man spoke, "Oh. I am quite glad you are alright then." Wilhelm smiled faintly on his own with the statement that fell past the man's lips thereafter, "Scars are only reminders that we've survived." Wilhelm wasn't sure that vampires could even have scars. He'd always thought they were perfect and flawless in appearance just as books described them in the past. He watched the touch the scar, but he didn't seem to focus on the scar itself. Just the act of rubbing it.
Wilhelm looked toward the motioned place, a faint color crossing his cheeks, though he wasn't really sure why. He watched the man for a moment, that shy nature was quite apparent, but it seemed so odd given the mans masculine appearance and his visual age. Though it wasn't unheard of so it amused wilhelm to no ends. He moved cautiously over to the spit on the bench the other man motioned. Releasing his torture over the necklace he wore to touch the bench beside him as he sat down.
Wilhelm jolted slightly toward the book being slammed shut. He squeaked out a surprised noise as he tensed up. Though relaxing to the question the other man spoke. Nervously observing the man, trying to figure out whether or not he was human still, so for now he was being very cautious. "I...i was passing by and remembered that I used to come here in the past. When the world wasn't so dark and with my family. It brought back happier times when i saw this place again." his soft voice echoed past his lips.
"Wilhelm." he stated softly toward the other man. There was a reason he never gave his last name in greetings. That reason was for his own safety, so that he was not truly known, or hunted.
