CLARA RAVEONETTE

Clara is no longer the innocent and scared thirteen year old girl she was when she came home from hunting and witnessed her father get killed and her mother and twin brothers get taken by the vampires to either become 'pets' or future vampires. She is now a young woman of twenty one years who has closed her heart off to everyone she might come in contact with in fear of being betrayed or hurt. On the outside, she is quiet, doesn't seem to give a crap about other people, and who never stays in one place for very long just in case someone decides to give word of her existence and the fact that she is human who happens to be unclaimed as a pet to the vampires. On the inside, however, she is just like everyone else who might be in her position and who has lost someone close to their hearts. She wants to find her family or what remains of it, find a place she can be safe at, and maybe have the courage to form a friendship with someone.
On the off chance she does get close to people, she tends to open up to them and show them a side of her that she rarely ever shows to people. She can be kind, compassionate, motherly to teenagers and children, and can be willing to do everything in her power to protect the ones she loves. It might take people a long time before they penetrate this side of her, but it's only because she has lost so much, been alone for so long, and is terrified of getting hurt. She isn't even expecting to fall in love with anyone, because there is a good chance that the man that she might fall for could be taken away from her and she doesn't want her heart to break again like it has so many times in the past. Only a very special man would be able to fill the spot of lover for her and he would have to prove to her that he won't ever leave her or would at least fight to remain by her side.
Lastly, she has learned early on that vampires can never be trusted and she doesn't trust them, not one bit. She, in fact, hates them with a passion and has been fortunate enough to not get turned into one. If she had begun to get turned, she probably would have killed herself so that she wouldn't get turned into the one thing she despises most in this world. She is now planning on finding a refugee camp of some sort and earn her place there so that she can be around other free humans and hopefully help people that might be as alone as she is at the moment join the camp. Plus, it is true that a person is stronger when other people are backing them up when a threat descends and she intends to find a place where she can feel like she is safe at.
RELATIONSHIPS:
