Sitting there with her head focused on the composition book on her desk, Seras or Diamondi as she preferred to be called, could feel someone eying her. The hair on the back of her neck rose with the feeling and her agitation rose the longer she felt them on her. She didn't want to be here, she had tried everything in power not to be here and yet here she was, sitting at a desk in a school literally crawling with blood sucking fiends and those fated to become them. Or if they didn't make the change, they would die. In her mind this was the better of the two options even if the idea might sound morbid to most, but Diamondi never wanted this life. She never wanted to become a vampire and she had been trying to run from her "fate" ever since the blue mark began to show on her pale skin.
Fate...such a silly thing to be thinking about now considering all that had happened to her. After first discovering the mark that crept its way under her chin and down her neck, some sick, twisted insect looking thing with legs and a tail with it's stinger at her throat, she had ran. Running off into the night afraid to tell her parents and afraid to wait around to see it grow anymore. Even now as she sat in her desk she hunched down a bit feeling the collar of her uniform raise up to touch her chin. That felt better. At least the person staring at her wasn't starting at her mark. Or maybe they had been? With this thought she reached up to touch it with her fingers and dug them into the soft flesh there before she got up and spun around on her heel to face where she felt those eyes on her. Seeing the eyes of the girl behind her widen in response, she zoned in and took her by the chin and pulled her up to glare directly into her eyes.
"You've got something you wanna say to me?" She asked in a slight hiss with a growl in the back of her throat. She was angry and she honestly didn't know why she had been so angry but she would get down to the bottom of why the girl had been staring at her so intently at least if nothing else. With blood on the tips of her fingers from where she had scratched her own neck, she dig into the girl's skin with her sharp nails as she waited for her to answer her. As she waited she felt everyone stop what they where doing in the classroom and as began to look around at them, those fierce blue eyes of hers darting around the room under her fringe of hair that normally hid her eyes from view. The anger she had felt towards the girl staring at her now extended to everyone who was looking at her.
"What?! You've got something to say?!" She said that growl in the back of her throat growing with its intensity as she released the girl's chin from her grasp as she turned on the rest of the students. Her hands curled up into fists and her nails dug into the palm of her hands while her body shook with the unexplained rage she felt. Having enough of the silence of everyone just looking at her and not saying anything, she walked back to her desk and gathered her things before headed out the classroom. She was upset and she didn't know why but she needed to do something with her anger before she exploded.
As she walked the halls feeling the eyes of the students that lingered there on her, that anger rose in her and she lashed out when she felt something on her shoulder, assuming it to be the hand of one of those blood sucking monsters.
"Don't You dare touch me!" She exclaimed as she spun and had the person's wrist in a pressure-point grip that would cause them serious pain if they made an attempt to free themselves. Those eyes of her bore deep into the person she now faced as she glared at them, waiting not so patiently for them to tell her just what was their problem.

Cris had gotten kicked out of class for bringing Chii with her.
In all honesty, she had totally known it was going to happen, that was why she did it. One more legit skip from her and she would have gotten in serious trouble being that she often skipped most of her classes and managed to somehow pass by the skin of her teeth. So she had devised a plan when she had woke up that evening and saw her baby asleep curled up on her legs. The comforting, heavy warmth of her baby sleeping there was something that was constant, she’d freak out if it was missing. And though soon she’d be too big to do it, as of right now she was just small enough.
She had taken her time getting ready for class. First brush out her long ass hair, currently a purple to blue ombre though with her who knew how long this dye job would last, and then push it back with a pair of oversized goggles. The tank that served as her bra because she was flat as a board, the loose tank-shirt over it that proclaimed “I don’t give a ship” and the torn up black jeans completed the look. Fingerless gloves to keep her affinity at bay and she was good.
She scooped up Chii and she was good to go. She only carried the darling out of the dorm, she tended to get distracted, but after that the sweet girl padded along silently beside her. She knew she’d get kicked out. The school overlooked the fact that Cris’s “pet” was a baby black panther but they wouldn’t tolerate her in class like they would the house cats and the birds and such. The school was pretty laid back on other things. Wild big cats? Not so much. Not that Chii was wild. Cris had practically raised her from birth after her mother had died and Cris just happened to be in the right place to…erm…elleviate the panther from the zoo. Her mother had paid them off, and Chii wouldn’t let anyone else take her. So the panther had been with her ever since.
And like predicted, as soon as the professor walked in she told Cris that either she could take the panther back home and come back to class, or she could just leave. Cris said that she’d take the second option and off she went, with the other snickering behind her back. Most around here knew her rep. And it wasn’t the best one but it meant that most didn’t screw with her too bad.
She was wandering about in the hallways at this point lazily. She had gotten dressed and she had gotten out of her room, there was no way she would suddenly go back to her own room to do nothing. And she hadn’t bothered to bring her guitar so she couldn’t just hide somewhere and play it like she often did when she had nothing else to do. But now that she couldn’t do that, well, she’d just have to find another way to entertain herself. She wasn’t too bad at that so she wasn’t too worried about it. She shrugged and wandered the halls. Just walking without much of an aim.
Chii pounced on dust mites and other pretend foes, making Cris smirk and shake her head as they walked. ”Baby what are you doing?” she asked, and was rewarded with the silly little girl pausing and looking up at Cris with a tilt of her head. Cris just as often called Chii baby outloud as she did by her name so she answered to either. And she soon went back to playing.
Cris heard a commotion in one of the classrooms and arched a brow. Well that didn’t happen every day unless one of her friends was in the class by hey, at least shit like that made it interesting, right? Whatever. She shrugged, not much caring. She saw a kid burst out of the classroom in front of her and rage off but hey, to each their own or whatever the fuck they wanted. She just kept wandering with her baby and didn’t much care. She was blowing off time until her friends got out of class and she could do something more interesting.
She heard yelling again and arched a brow, going around the corner to find said kid who had just stormed out of the classroom grabbing some other student. Normally, Cris wouldn’t give a shit but it just looked like the kid had flown off the handle for no reason. And if she hadn’t been mistaken that had been a class for first formers she had stormed outta. The first forms always seemed to fly off the handle. Cris rolled her eyes. Might as well pretend to be a good person.
”Hey!” she called, walking over, her baby tagging along after her as always. ”Seriously?” she asked, arching a brow, when she got closer it looked like whatever fucking thing she had the grabbed the other kid with looked painful. ”You shouldn’t go around grabbing random fucking people ya know. Let the poor kid go, newbie”she said, arching a brow, and totally not taking any shit, though when did she ever?
Words: 884 Muse: Good Comments: None of mine would ever let themselves be grabbed like that, so I made it like Cris had walked in on it.
