Laurel'd been lounging around doing nothing, as was normal for her on these nice days, when Micha had floated down from the high clouds on mostly silent wings. Lifting up her head she rose an eyebrow at the little bird. She did adore Micha, really she did, though she hoped the bird would have some sort of interesting news about something to give her day a little less boredom. "Sup birdie?" She grinned as Micha landed on a branch connected to a tree not too far from Laurel. There's someone in the forest Laurel had to roll her eyes at that one. There was always someone in the forest, honestly, the bird must be going daft in her old age. That brought a bit of a frown to Laurel's face. Micha was getting older, she'd been alive for a very long time, about as long as her mother'd been dead. She wasn't willing to lose Micha yet.
"Wanna elaborate birdie?" She was in a teasing mood, apparently, as she hefted herself up to her elbows, her head tilted back to look at the bird. Well, I think she's either a spy or tracker, wandering out near the edge of camp. Thought you might want to know Laurel's lips pursed slightly. That wouldn't be good at all. Not at all. Laurel knew sort of where the human refugee camp was. The one her grand-father was trying so hard to find, but she'd never had interest in outing them. Perhaps it was her own way of getting the better of her smug, arrogant grand-dad without him really knowing. She'd probably end up dead if Laevinus knew that Laurel could point them in the direction of camp. Hauling herself to her feet Laurel wiped of her jeans before heading off into the woods.
She'd been lounging on the outskirts of the city anyways, as far away from school as she could get without going into the woods. She hadn't planned on a day trek through the enchanted forest as they so laughably called it. However, she was curious to see if this spy/tracker had stumbled so close to the human camp on purpose, or if they hadn't a clue where they were. She was, of course, going to find out. Micha took flight as Laurel disappeared into the woods, before bumping up her pace to a jog. It wouldn't really wind her, being an onyx had it's perks, being stronger and faster than the other vampiric species was one of them. So she easily breezed through the woods, following Micha as the predator bird led her to whomever was stumbling around in the forest.
Micha, of course, caught sight of the woman first, swooping down through the trees to neatly navigate the forest. She settled a few yards from where the woman spy/tracker was, informing Laurel if she was getting 'hotter or colder' much to Laurel's amusement. Probably payback for the birdie comments, though Laurel didn't much care, she was having a good time romping through the forest in search of this woman, sometimes purposefully going the other way to get Micha going. But, she ended up stumbling upon the woman, rather easily thanks to Micha's sharp gaze. Slowing her pace to a walk Laurel didn't bother to hide her approach at all, instead throwing on a cheeky grin as she approached. "Lost?" Hopefully she'd have an eventful day. That'd be nice, she'd had a routine of boredom lately, unless she was hanging out with Tripp of course, but she wasn't right now. So that meant boredom.
