Leila Rebecca Vixen, better known as Vix to most people, had had an absolutely and terribly boring shift. Oh she had done her job, she had kept people happy. She had gotten the drinks and led people places, she had entertained and connected, she had danced. But she hadn’t danced with anyone, and what fun was that? Absolutely none. None of her regulars had been in which was a bummer because she hated those nights, when it was slow. For her. It was a weekday so she supposed it was a normal thing, but all the same she did not approve.
What fun was it to pretend to be a vampire if you didn’t get the fun perks? She hadn’t gotten a fix of absolutely anything tonight and it practically made her want to kick something. Not that she would. She wasn’t strong enough to do any damage no matter how hard she tried and that would show, even the azure that she pretended to be had more strength than her and would at least make a dent. She wouldn’t blow her cover of nearly ten years now just to pout for a bit, when she could do that at home in her own privacy.
So she did what any good pouting woman did: she retreated to the bathroom.
Her shift may be over, but the club was still going strong and likely would until the sun came up. Even then really, at that point the crimsons would just ditch so they didn’t burn. But she could feel the bass even in here, throbbing in her veins and making her get even more annoyed because she hadn’t been able to do more fun things tonight to that lovely beat, she couldn’t take advantage of it at all. That seductive throbbing beat.
She huffed and looked herself over in the mirror once she got there. Tonight had been a waste of a totally killer outfit too. Okay, so this had been one of those that Talon had supplied in his oh so obnoxious way, but she could admit that she had made it killer at least. That much she could give in to. She smirked slightly and twisted and turned in the mirror. She did adore this one even though she would absolutely never admit that to him. She liked to pretend she didn’t even notice the new ones, like she hadn’t cared.
Vix loved how it hugged her figure though, and the peekaboo panels on the sides were to die for. She had a pretty strong sense of her own body and was happy to go walking around in barely anything, so the way it was so tight, short, how much skin it showed, that didn’t bother her at all really. She had accented it with the gold chocker that almost felt like a collar but she didn’t mind that kinky shit so she barely noticed, and the gold matched her spikey heels. And when she bent certain ways she completely exposed the garters she was wearing.
Not that she had gotten to bend certain ways tonight. And then she was pouting and huffing again. She did so hate when she didn’t get her fix. It made her turn into a bit of a child. But why work this job if she couldn’t get the perks that came with it? She had played happy all night, trying to attract attention to herself but people just wanted beer, and to paw their hands all over the other customers rather than her. It was a shame really but what could she do?
And then a slow grin spread across the little vixen’s face. She knew exactly who she could bother to get her fix for the night. He was actually in the club tonight, in his office as far as she knew. She went out of her way to avoid him at the club and in public so she wasn’t entirely sure. She mostly avoided him to be a brat though, and because somehow she always ended up naked when she was with him, or pissed off. And she actually should do her job, not be busy fucking the vampire that was her boss in more ways than anyone but them knew.
She intended to keep it that way too.
But because they always ended up naked with each other… well perhaps she hadn’t wasted this outfit after all. It would totally please her if this was the case. She may get totally annoyed nd pissed off at the man she worked for, but he was a damn good fuck if you asked her. And she knew from experience, a lot of experience. And she had a lot to compare him to too so there was a fair judgment if she had ever heard one.
With that new idea in mind, she touched up her make up, took one last look at what she was wearing, nodded to herself and slipped out of the bathroom. She made her way once more through the crowd, waving to people she knew but she was pretty much on a mission now. She climbed the stairs, waving easily to the bouncers who knew her too well on each floor as she passed them by, until she had reached the top. From there, it was an easy walk over to his office where she didn’t bother to knock, just opened the door and waltzed in, closing it behind her.
She looked over at his desk and then up at him, arching a brow. ”Jeez, I didn’t know you actually bothered to do paperwork” she said, easily, a grin coloring her lips. She wasn’t going to bother to hide her plans. She had been bored all day at work, why not get her entertainment now? It wasn’t like he ever complained about that. And seriously? Why would he. He was a damn good fuck but so was she, thank you very much. She leaned back against the door she had closed and waited for an answer.
