- born into home where mother = prostitute, father = drug dealer "thug" type
- mother left roman and his father when rome was four
- father beat roman, etcetcetc shit like that, blamed him for making the mother leave--perf right?
- when roman got to be ten or so, his dad was all yo yur guna fkin help me with my job kid, so rome basically acted as like a drug transport iuno wtf i'm even saying ok
- SO HE LIKE STARTED TRANSPORTING THE DRUGS ETC
- they'd fight and shit at home all the time obvs, like punching and shit woo omg
- as he got older and sold drugs to his little middle-school pals, a teach was all omg kid why u so angry and introduced him to boxing
- at one point in time [say he's like 15] rome brings a girl home, leaves to grab drinks, come back and his dad is gropin' on her so she runs out, they fight, etcetc, rome ends up meandering the streets all butchered and goes to the hospital woo
- hospital peeps be all YO WHY U HURT KID and he's all oops i fell then they're all OMFG HAHAHHAno but rome won't talk 'cause he's scared of daddypoo

- daddy gets arrested when rome is 16, so he takes off and tries to discreetly sleep at school; teach finds him, offers him a place to stay for a bit
- eventually he tries to find his mom, realizes she's dead, and is basically just left to rage in this teacher's care wut even
- eventually social services are like WUT R U DOING and bring him into an orphanage and since he's all rage-y no one likes him etc
- by the time he's 18 he's a boss fighter etcetc who can control his anger more yay

Adoptive Muscle Memory. Roman can, quite literally, mimic nearly any movement after simply seeing it preformed. Be it a fashion of punching or a gymnastics maneuver, all he needs to do is sit back and observe, before being able to replicate the exact same motion mere seconds later, with perfection. It is more of an intuition--a split second, instinctual response--then anything else, but it certainly comes in handy with his career and set of values. Now, this affinity, though seemingly powerful, is considerably limited. Firstly, it is very easy for him to overwork himself--should Roman put these skills to use excessively, say in a fight for example, both his body and mind will grow rapidly exhausted, leaving him broken down and nearing a state of unconsciousness. As well, the less he knows about something--say with gymnastics for example--the harder it will be to force his body into the roll. He has little control over his affinity and, therefore, it is nearly always in use, though very subtly. Because of this, Roman often suffers from great stiffness--again, another setback of usage.
