Warm Winters

Mrs. Winters has a big heart, and always has. During the war she tugged her husband all around to help out with the towns who had been hit the hardest to see what she could do to help. For all that she has such a big heart, and a mothering nature she was born sterile. So the idea of adopting children made her ecstatic when her husband suggested it. She's warm, she's loving, and she has a bit of a sarcastic streak that entertains her husband and her children. Her life, what she did beyond that, and her full personality is up to whoever takes her. But she is warm and caring, she also stands by the Monarch to a tee even if the war seems to be something that went against her ideas. She's an Onyx vampire though, so that makes sense. How she got there and why, again up to you.

She's the one who makes sure to try and connect to each of her children, finding ways to draw them back out of her shells and she's the one that taught Day to cook. Day idolizes the woman because of this.

Much like his wife, Mr. Winters has a big heart and always wants to help. His family wealth along with their help with the children vampires who were orphaned is what marked them among the nobles. He's more practical than his wife, but just as quick to smile and play around, often found playing games with his adoptive children. He's a bit more serious than his wife but only by a margin. He wants the best for his children and is fiercely protective of his family. He's a family man though.

During the war, he along with his wife went around helping those that needed the help, taking in orphaned children and adopting a good chunk of them. Other than that, and the majority of his personality, is up to whoever decides to take him!

His suggested FC is Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The eldest of the Winters girls besides for Day is a bit of a cold one. She uses wit and sarcasm a lot, but that's mostly because that's how she handled what happened in her life to lead to being adopted and she just never shook the attitude. She's just a bit harsh, a bit kept to herself.

She's so opposite of the second sister who's the same age as her and was brought in the same time that they worried that there would be trouble in the household, but the two are constantly with each other. Perhaps its the shared sense of upheaval and being brought in together, or perhaps its just because they're the same age. Day was fourteen and she was eight when she was brought to live with the Winters, nine years ago.

What happened to her, her life aside from those facts, and the rest of her personality is up to those that take her up!

Her suggested FC is Freya Mavor (though I also like Ella Rae Peck for her!) Basically, I went from thinking it'd be interesting if they looked so opposite to thinking if they looked sorta like twins it'd be even more interesting because despite the way they act they're...not lol

This would be the other seventeen year old Winters sister. Like her "sister" she was brought in when she was eight. She's all that her sister isn't, warm, soft spoken, often more than a little bit shy. She's smart though, for all that she doesn't often speak out. That's simply how she reacted to the situation that brought her to the Winters household. Like with her sister, they were worried that the pair wouldn't get along but the two of them are thick as thieves despite the fact that they are entirely opposite.

What happened to her before and after that event, and her personality beyond the fact that its soft and shy as opposed to her sister is entirely up to whoever takes her.

Her suggested FC is Daria Sidorchuk Basically, I went from thinking it'd be interesting if they looked so opposite to thinking if they looked sorta like twins it'd be even more interesting because despite the way they act they're...not lol

This one is truly special to Day. Day always wanted a sibling, so much. And she was ecstatic when her sisters were brought in but they had each other, they didn't need her. But then her baby brother was brought in, with the same haunted and scared look in his eyes that she remembered having herself when the Winters first took her in. He was only five but he always has seemed older and wiser than his years, because of what he's seen his eyes are wiser than his body so to speak. She took him under his wing and Day never really let him out of her sight for a long while. She would bake for him, read him stories, she refused to be too far from him. And even today, if he calls her she'll drop what she's doing to go help.

He's an old soul, and mostly seems to have recovered from the trauma that had him on the Winters doorstep. He's got a happy attitude, he's much kinder and more outgoing now that he feels safe again. Anything beyond that is up to whoever takes him ^^

Day was in her first year in the Academy when she was brought in but that didn't stop her from being home often to try to help her to settle in. She was only three when she was brought to the Winters so any real memory of her life without the Winters is lost to her, memory doesn't go that far back. All she has is a locket to remember her real parents by and the Winters encourage her to remember. She's the sort with a really vivid imagination because of this, always running around and telling stories, making up new adventures for her and her little brother to play.

Her suggested FC is Alissa Skovbye

This little munchkin was brought in at the tail end of the war. His mother was found by the Winters, badly injured but very pregnant. They tried to get her to a hospital but she wouldn't go, and in the end she did succumb to her wounds, asking them to care for her child because their reputation proceeded them at this point. Like with his elder sister, they've never pretended to be his real parents, but instead tell him stories of how brave his mother was.

He's a loud sort, always making noise and wanting to be heard, and is the baby, so he is often doted on by his sisters and brother. And adoptive parents. He's got a bit of a mischievous glint to his eyes most of the time, he likes pulling pranks. He's also often seen trailing along after his elder sister, listening to her stories in awe. Anything beyond this is up to whoever takes the lil cutie ^^
