Catch-22: Arkham City is an AU Batman RPG set before Arkham City. Exclusively Batman canon continuity, based on a villains & criminals-only concept with no superheroes running amok to ruin the atmosphere and realism of Arkham City.
Most Wanted:
The Penguin/Mr. Cobblepot: Perhaps the most influential mob boss in Arkham City- and Gotham, of course, second to The Joker. Or is it the other way around? Cobblepot deals with contraband, the black market: firearms, ammunition, high explosives and military-grade weaponry; tech, from mobile phones to personal music players to batteries, food, soap, clothes.
Mr. Freeze: He's a leading scientist in various departments: Human biology, microbiology, neurology, bio-engineering, and the like. He would be the go-to man for anything and everything related to sciences, it's just that, well.. He has concerns over his cryogenically-frozen wife. He regards her as more important than everything else. Good luck with trying to persuade him to help you, let alone take sides in the on-going turf wars.
Two-Face: This man's torn between a life of crime and delivering justice to those that deserve it. Compared to the other gang leaders of Arkham, he's laughable: but that does not necessarily mean that you should let your guard down amongst his crew. Don't even think of crossing into his territory unless you wish to join him. And once you're in, you can't get out, lest you want an early appointment with your maker.
The Scarecrow: He is the Master of Fear, put simply. He lives for nothing more than to torment his fellow man with their worst nightmares, via his unique Fear Toxin that manipulates a person's neurotransmitters. Scarecrow has been known to take sides, more often than not, but it can't end well for his partner.
The Riddler: He has the most valuable assets in Arkham City. Loosely translated: information. Intelligence. He knows everything that goes on in Arkham City. No one knows how he does it, but the fact is, he has it, and people want it. They will certainly get it, that is, if they can pay for it: but what exactly does one use to trade? Not even The Penguin's black market can rival the wealth of information that The Riddler has to offer.
Original Characters: political prisoners, medical staff, volunteers, undercover cops, TYGER personnel, petty thugs, gang members, Gothamites, and so forth! A gang can't function if there's no members, and vice versa: members, but no leader.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN US?
- Founded in October, 2011. We're a permanent, close-knit friendly group managed by experienced staff.
- You do not need to be a seasoned Batman fan to join!
- Based on old school/traditional role-play ideals. We're all about collaborative storytelling.
- Open sandbox world: Develop & explore your characters at your own pace.
- No railroaded plot Establish your own storylines! Relationships, personal pursuits/motivations, mysteries/whodunnits, Slice-of-Life, dynamic character development, turf wars, rivalries & allegiances, plus more. ICA=ICC.
- OOC plotting is kept minimal: we do not use plot-pages, and we encourage open-ended threads with no predetermined outcomes where time can be wasted figuring out the should-they's, what-if's.
- We accept both Original Characters & Canon Characters. No Mary Sues.
- We're geared for players who play ordinary, run-of-the-mill characters: the only inmates with superhuman/supernatural abilities, powers and fantastical origins are the super-villains. We're largely a cops 'n' robbers game.
- Research is required - mental institutions, the super-max, mental illnesses, trades & professions, combat, etc.
- Realism comes into play as does suspension-of-disbelief. We're just more tuned intto the real world than a typical comic book/video-game rpg.
