THIS IS OUR DYNASTY
We told you that this was[bold]OUR[/bold] Dynasty…
And we weren’t joking around.
And we weren’t joking around.
The Outcasts of the school had ruled successfully for two years. Everyone in the ‘lower’ cliques were ecstatic that they were no longer under the rule of the vicious Queens and Kings of the school. The Queens and Kings, however, were not so happy. And after the warning note left in the locker of all of the Outcasts students, they should have known things weren’t going to be blue skies and sunshine forever. The Queens and Kings were not joking when they note they got read “I know your dirty little secret. Remember this is our Dynasty and we will take it back. Watch out, you never know when we're listening.” And for the last few months things have become increasingly uneasy between the cliques. Secrets about both sides have come out in abundance and a secret duo known only as Rumor and Revenge have been mercilessly tormenting the school by forcing students and teachers alike to go into rooms together for an hour or else their secrets would be revealed to the whole school.
Elliot Merrick and his cousin Ella Vanderbilt are the ruling Queen Bee and Leader respectively, and they along with Paul, the leader of the Kings, have been formulating a plan to take back Dynasty Prep. Their first plan of attack was to handpick the Queens and Kings who would be replacing the graduating seniors. But Elli and Ella took this a step further. They groomed these pretty girls to be just like them, fierce and determined. Girls who would make sure the future of the school didn’t stay in the hands of those ‘filthy Outcasts’. The Kings chose boys they knew wouldn’t give up and who would see to it that the Outcasts were destroyed. The Outcasts got wind of their plans from the one spy in each of the groups. They began their own training, picking out kids to replace the graduating seniors, including leader Cyan Corvus. A quiet, brooding boy came forth as their hero and was quickly decided upon to be the candidate for the male Leader role of the clique.
When the new Leaders and Right Hands were announced, the students were in shock at the choices and how they behaved. As the graduation crept closer and closer, the students waited in silence to see what would happen next. Then the final nail in the coffin of the Outcasts’ fate came to light. The new Leader, Nathan Hawthorne, was accused of an atrocious crime. He had gotten high when he was a freshman and killed a four year old when he took a joyride in a car and hit her. The students took a step back in disgust. He had been accused of killing someone?! Well, the Queens and Kings may have been mean, but they’d never been accused of killing a child, especially while high! The majority of the students began to mill around the Kings and Queens, avidly supporting their rise back to the top. With graduation just a few short weeks away, the tables have turned and the Royals have begun setting up their new courts and have no hesitation in screaming off with their heads! These new Queens and Kings are twice as vicious and their out for revenge. Watch your back, Outcasts, because you’ve suddenly become public enemy #1.
The Outcasts have never gone down without a fight, and have quickly chosen another boy to replace their first choice (who promptly left the school after death threats were coming his way en masse). This new one has to be the one to lead them back to the top. And not all of the students are siding with the Royalty. The Misunderstoods and Rotten Apples in particular have begun backing the Outcasts, and the group of rebels has begun finding new ways to destroy their competition. With both sides clawing their way toward the top, it’s anybody’s game. Who will you be in the scheme of things, and where do your loyalties lie in this Dynasty?
