Anya Taylor stood in front of the full length mirror in her lovely apartment and placed one dress over herself and then another. They were both very pretty but she was feeling a little indecisive at the moment. She held one over her again and again, until she finally decided on the red number because that was the mood that was striking her at that very moment. Anya was getting dressed up to go out. She hadn't really been out in since she had opened up her own club and that was about to change. Anya needed to go out, and more importantly, she needed to have fun. As much fun as she possible could and that usually meant finding someone to have fun with. She grinned a little bit and she slipped out of her black Kimono robe and put on the red strapless dress that fit tight to her body, she had on black stockings and high heels and she knew she looked killer. Her hair was out and wavy, and her eyes looked phenomenal it was time for her to make an appearance. An appearance at Indulgence.
Now that was not her club. That club was owned by another vampire. She didn't know who it was but she knew that it was the best club in town. Anya had just opened her club up but she was hoping that she would be able to steal that title away from it. Not right away but soon, very soon. Anya had an eye for business, she always had. Even when she lived at a time where women having an eye for business was completely frowned upon, she always had. Either way she was going to Indulgence for more than just a good time if she was being honest. She was also going to scope out the competition. It wasn't like anyone would know that that was what she was going there to do. It wasn't even her main objective. She was just going to do that while she looked around for someone to sleep with, aka someone to take home.
She thought she had ever right to see what this wonderful club was like anyway. She had heard good things, but the best way to scope out the competition was to go right in there yourself. At least that was the way she viewed things. She grabbed a purse, which had very little in it and then took one last look in the mirror before she left her apartment and walked out into the brisk night air. She had on a light jacket but she was going to take it off as soon as she got to the club.
Anya wasn't sure what she was more excited for. She wanted to get a good idea what her competition was like. She wanted to know everything about them so she could exploit their weaknesses. She wanted to do all of that, but she also really wanted to find herself a little playmate. She had no doubt that she actually would be able to find someone, it had always been extremely easy for her to do so she wasn't worried. Her brain was just constantly switching gears at the moment and she didn't want it too. She wanted it to focus on one thing and one alone, now once she decided what that one thing was going to be then she would be all set. She smirked a little and kept walking towards the club. It wasn't that early so there was a line and Anya felt a little roll in her stomach. Ugh. A line? She did not want to wait on a line, but if she was going to appear like the average club goer then she was going to have to.
Anya walked over to the back of the line and tried very hard to hide her impatience at having to wait. She didn't want to have to wait and she was pretty much not used to waiting really but she would do it. The line seemed to move fairly quickly so that was nice and Anya tried to distract herself as it moved. Obviously something great had to be going on inside if the line was so long. Once she got to the front of the line and bouncer of course let her in, Anya grinned a little bit.
She had to admit, her competition knew how to put a club together. It was definitely some place a lot of people would want to go just from the first step inside. The atmosphere just screamed for life, and fun and vibrancy. Anya loved it. She was going to be marking it down in her brain for later, so that she could possible make some additions to her own club but for now Anya was on the hunt.
She smirked, it was a little joke to herself to call it that. To call it the hunt. She was definitely on the hunt for something, or someone that is. The question was, who would it be? Who would be the lucky guy that got to take her home? Or somewhere nice and quiet if that was what suited their fancy? She laughed a little bit as she thought about it. Who was going to get to see that Iced Rose mark of hers? Anya's mark was around her navel, someone would have to get her very undressed in order to see that, now wouldn't they?
She smirked a little at the thought and kept walking dancing a little as she moved, her heels making distinct clicking noises against the floor, and walked over to the bar to scope out someone. She ordered a drink and sipped it quietly as she waited. She was searching for a damned good time and she was so hoping that there was someone out there in the crowd that was going to give it to her.

Tripp had just stepped inside the doors of Indulgence and he was already pumped up beyond belief. There was no waiting in line for him, no he could just waltz in whenever he felt like it. It was immediately clear to him that the music was going to be just right tonight. The heat in the club was heavy and the patrons where almost shoulder-to-shoulder already. A diabolical grin couldn’t be stopped from spreading across Tripp’s lips. This was perfect for his mood tonight. The urge to just let loose was so strong he could feel it in every fiber of his being. He nodded with the music a little and made his way toward the crowd. A group of girls kept looking his way, it was most likely because he wasn’t wearing a shirt. It was refreshing and comfortable for him to just wear his jeans, a belt, his bike boots and his leather jacket that he left in his normal spot in the back. He was used to being stared at because of his mass amount of tattoos on his upper body. Tonight, like most nights, he was embracing the attention, the grin only increasing as he made his way into the middle of the group of young ladies. Tripp inhaled deeply, embracing all they different ways that the club appealed to all his senses.
The girls’ hands were all over him, groping, pulling him this way and that. Even though the music was metal, the beat and guitar provided enough energy for a good time. The singer sucked balls though. It was a good thing that they were just the opening band. They had been playing long enough and Tripp decided it was time for an early entrance on his part. A laugh escaped him and he peeled girls off as he moved through the crowd. It only took one leap and Tripp was on stage. The band looked alarmed but kept playing into the end of the song. Tripp towered over the little punk ass of a lead singer and held out his hand for the microphone. The trembling boy handed it over and scampered off stage. Run away you piece of shit. First a grin to the band that didn’t seam to mind at all then he turned toward the crowd. “Are you mother fuckers ready for some real fucking music?” [/b] His words were strong and laced with the energy that was pulsing through him. The crowd reacted jumping up and down, screaming, moving together if they were all just one big single mass. With one look of his icy blue eyes at the band the music started and the crowd went wild. Tripp inhaled once more, and let it out. “Caught up in this madness too blind to see Woke animal feelings in me Took over my sense and I lost control I'll taste your blood tonight”He came alive on the stage. The words pouring forth like it was the most natural thing he could ever do. The club goers loved it and he ate it up. His words were haunting but he didn’t care, he was alive and he was enjoying every second of it. The girls from his little group earlier had made their way to the front of the stage. “You know I make you wanna scream You know I make you wanna run from me baby but know it's too late you've wasted all your time”
He could see the crowd really getting into it, this just fueled his desire to be up there even more. The atmosphere was amazing and he was currently in the spot light. Tripp made his way from one side of the stage to the other, fueling he crowd in front of him. “Relax while you're closing your eyes to me So warm as I'm setting you free With your arms by your side there's no struggling Pleasure's all mine this time”Being on that stage was the only time Tripp let himself be open to feel what he wanted to feel. His passion flooded through his words, the energy racing through him was so very present with him on the stage. He didn’t just stand there behind a microphone stand. No, he was all over the stage, working the crowd and feeling the music and lyrics. Back when he did music in high school, before the entire world changed, he was a screamer. It was raw and real, but he found his voice when he hit New York. Memories of the time there flooded back to him. It angered him that they had kicked him out of the Academy there. Scaredy cat fucking vampires, they were scared of a little fledgling that stood up to them. He tired to push that anger out and filled the lyrics with it. Tonight was for enjoyment, not being pissed about the past. Tripp closed his eyes and got his head back into the music. “You know I make you wanna scream You know I make you wanna run from me baby but know it's too late you've wasted all your time” “Cherishing, those feelings pleasuring Cover me, unwanted clemency Scream till there's silence Scream while there's life left, vanishing Scream from the pleasure unmask your desire perishing”
Tripp could feel the muscles in his abdomen and chest working perfectly to produce the correct amount of force and air to allow him to carry on. Over the years he had developed stamina for performing a set on stage, being a fledgling that was edging closer and closer to the change helped a bit too. He was in his element and he was reveling in every moment of it. [/blockquote] Words: 951 Muse: Pumped Outfit: ~*~ Outfit ~*~ Notes: I recycled a bit of an old post. Hope you don't mind.

Anya hated to admit how much she was enjoying this club. Who really wanted to admit that their competition actually knew what they were doing? No one really. She was a professional though, she was a business woman. She could admit when an opponent was doing something right, and right now she had to admit it. There was something in the air at this club. Something that made people want to be here. The atmosphere wasn't stuffy at all, it was entirely free. It was something to be admired. She was very happy about it. She didn't want to be happy about it because of the fact that this was in fact her competition. Perhaps she could forget that though for a little while. She was in fact here to have a good time was she not? She most certainly was so that was what she was going to do. She ordered another drink and sipped it carefully before getting up and away from the bar and walking into the crowd a little bit.
She wanted to look around and scope out someone to try and capture for the evening. She leaned up against a near by wall and she smirked as she saw a couple of promising subjects. She cocked her head to the side, surveying them and deciding that they were not what she wanted at all for the moment. She sighed a little bit. If she didn't find anything soon, she was going to get very upset. She didn't like waiting. She would rather not wait at all. As she thought of that she heard some laughing and near her and she turned to look. There were a bunch of girls standing around this one man and they simply seemed to be enamored with him as if he was some type of star.
Anya walked closer to them just to get a good look at the man but he was faced away from her. He seemed to be really enjoying the attention not that she could fault him for that because who really could fault someone for that? He turned away from the girls and started heading to the stage and Anya got a good look at him.
She liked what she saw. There was a certain energy about him that matched the energy of club. It was something that she enjoyed. He was grinning, he had a black leather jacket and biker boots. He had no shirt on either. She could see all of his tattoos and it made her smirk a little bit. Interesting. How very interesting. She was used to seeing Tattoo's on men. All of the vampire men had them because it was part of being a full vampire. This one though, he had a lot. She found it very interesting. Perhaps she would end up seeing each one up close.
As he tore away from his little fans, he made his way over to the stage and Anya followed but not right up to the stage but right to the middle of the crowd so that she could get a perfect view of what he was doing. He got up there and he started singing. She grinned a little bit and sipped from her drink glass.
Well then, the man was talented. She hadn't been really expecting that at all. His little gaggle of girls had run to the front of the stage so that they could grab at them and Anya rolled her eyes and sipped her drink again. She wasn't the fan girl type at all. Even so, even if she wasn't into fan girling. She was definitely a fan. She liked this man. He seemed very interesting. She decided that she was going to pick him.
She grinned a little bit as the crowd roared happy that he was singing and not that guy who had been singing before who had been stinking up the place. She listened to his music and she watched as everyone got really involved in the music. She smirked happily and drank more of her drink.
When He finished his song and everyone clapped and cheered. She could definitely see why people came here if things like this happened all the time.Anya smirked and finished the drink and then put the glass on a tray that was passing by. She clapped slowly.
"Not bad"she said softly"Not bad at all.She didn't know if he would see her, being that he was standing up on stage and there was a crowd full of people down there. Her green eyes were a light with mischief, thinking of all the possibilities, she was ready to have a good time. It had been what she came here for after all right? She clapped slowly again and watched him as he stood there, she wanted to see what he was going to do next. She was extremely interested to find out.

Tripp always enjoyed being up on stage and tonight the stage lights’ warmth felt awesome against his shirtless torso. He had to admit he lost himself a little in the whole song, not letting his mind think, only letting it do whatever the fuck he wanted. He could feel his heart pounding against his chest, the adrenaline seeping into him. He stood there for a moment letting the crowd just go crazy. The mosh pit had settled a little and every one was just going ape shit. The grin on his face was almost ear-to-ear. Fuck he loved this shit. His eyes survived what he could see of the crowd before he started his next song. His eyes caught on one figure that seemed to stand out against the rest. Squinting his eyes just a little he could see her a little bit better, a woman slowly clapping dressed in red. She looked nothing like the normal crowd as she slowly clapped looking directly at Tripp.
“Let me tell you about a girl I know That comes alive when you take off her clothes There's no telling just where she's been Ask around but no one seems to know…yeah”
He tilted his head to the side as he made eye contact with her, a silent “I see you looking at me” look directed her way followed but his signature smirk. It was unusual for him to be the one targeted by another attention with such intent. Tripp was normally the one on the hunt for some carnal satisfaction. Even though it wasn’t his norm, it was still interesting and he would go along with it tonight and see where it led.
“Late at night when you're looking to sin Call her up and she'll lay down the law You can't trust her cause she'll lie to your face But that's not why you gave her a call”
Tripp played the song up to the crowd but kept looking back at the woman in red. This would be his last song; he didn’t want that spark of interest the woman had in her eyes to fade out of boredom. Tripp knew all of the regulars at indulgence, but her face just wasn’t one he’d seen before. The mystery of the woman was not enough to throw Tripp off his usual performance. No, it would take a lot more than a hot female in a strapless dress to shake Tripp’s confidence on stage. He took a few steps, his boots right on the edge of the stage, eyes locked on the woman and he continued the next part of the song.
“Awaits deep inside The lust and burning desire
We've all been more than eager to sin And it feels alright Til we pay the price Now you choose either naughty or nice Cause she's here for you it's all yours tonight”
The crowd was just thick enough for a stage dive and Tripp was feet like taking advantage of it. He grinned and turned his back on the crowd, his arms stretched out from his sides and he leaned back, his feet giving him a push off the stage. The crowd caught him and he never missed a beat.
“You won't believe the stories I've been told About a girl I know”
All the hands holding up his body, propelled him this way and that. It was an odd feeling to anyone that had never experienced it before, but this wasn’t the first time Tripp jumped off the stage and into the crowd. They put him down and it took him just a second to orient himself. He looked for one person in particular. There she was. That mischievous smirk back on his face, instead of being overwhelmed by the crowd around him, they all seemed to keep just enough of a distance between them and him. It was something that Tripp noticed more and more, the way others tended to avoid his personal space. No complaints here, he liked it that way. Tripp worked his way though the crowd and toward the mystery woman in the tight red dress.
“Another thing about this girl I know She's more comfortable down on her knees Went to school got a job and then she shot it to hell All cause she's born to please yeah.”
He stood right there in front of her and sang it to her, the smirk never leaving his face. The lyrics were quite suggestive; it was the reason Tripp liked it so much. He took a few sidesteps and he walked around her but kept facing her, his eyes locked on hers. She was quite attractive, but in a hot mature way. Not old, no way…but also nothing like these club kids Tripp saw in here all the time. His gaze lingered on her figure for a moment or two. There was something about bare shoulders that always seemed to get Tripp’s attention and that strapless dress was doing just that. A few steps closed the small distance between them, he was close enough that she could have put hands on him if she so desired, but it was just for a brief moment because soon he was on the move again. He backed into the crowd and away from her. After making his way through the bodies he climbed back up on stage. The rest of the song played out, the entire time Tripp found that his gaze kept being drawn to the woman. Soon enough he’d find out what her deal was and he hated to admit the anticipation was kind of exciting for once.
It was time to wrap it up. “Alright you sorry mother fuckers! Don’t forget to tip your bartenders and dancers. Get shit faced and party hard!” [/I] Tripp had replaced the microphone into the stand just to knock it over right before he exited the stage. He needed a drink after all that, a strong one. With that thought, he made his way to the bar to quench his thirst. Maybe she was around there somewhere.[/blockquote] Words: 1015 Muse: Good Notes: sorry it took so long. he just wasn't happy with just one song. silly boy.

Anya was always looking for some sort of amusement. It was one of her quirks she guessed (not that she would admit to having any in front of anyone) Anya could never seem to sit still, unless she had work to do and even then, she would sometimes not be able to sit there and do it. She just had to be doing something of amusement at all times. Well, she wasn't having an issue with that tonight, not at all really. It had been something she was worried about when she got there being that she had been going to her rival club in the area. She was both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised. Pleasantly because Anya needed to be amused at all costs. Unpleasantly because the competition was doing so well. She tried not to think about it though, she had come to be amused after all hadn't she? She could think about the business aspect of things later, much much later.
She had come to find a male source of amusement actually and it had appeared that she had found it. She had been looking around for someone to please her for the evening and she had seen some people who she thought might fit the bill but they hadn't been good enough, then she had seen a man who had a gaggle of girls around him. She had found that amusing and she had wanted to see what the big deal about him was. She was pleasantly surprised by the look of him and even more so when he had gotten up on the stage and began to sing. She had decided that he would be the one for the night, the only thing now was to tell him about it.
He had walked away from his little women and got up on the stage and began to sing. Anya was impressed with him and she had shown as much when she began clapping slowly as he sang. That was when he actually noticed her, he looked directly at her as he started singing a new song, a way more provocative song. She grinned a little as he cocked his head to the side and sang toward her. She thought this was so amusing. Singing at her, he sang to the crowd but she felt his eyes come back to her every time. Well well well, he seemed to be smart. She almost laughed but she kept her cool composure. Anya was very good at that she had been working on it for as long as she had been alive (and that included the years before she became a vampire)
He kept singing and Anya allowed herself to bob her head a little and that was all. She could tell that he was really feeling the music. She liked that about him, he was definitely something of a star around here, which she thought was amusing. When he threw himself onto the crowed though Anya was quite surprised. She had seen that happen many a time but for some reason she had not been expecting it. The crowd carried him and then put him down right near her. She smirked and looked at him raising her drink to her lips as he sang a bit more to her, he circled her and she watched, keeping cool but smirking the whole time. She thought this was entirely amusing. She had chosen well. He was watching her, checking her out, deciding if he liked what he saw she assumed. She was doing the same, though she had been pretty sure she liked what she saw from earlier she did a bit of a once over again. He was definitely good looking and she kind of appreciated the Tattoo's all in all not bad at all. In fact he seemed extremely fun which was exactly what she wanted. He smirked at her the whole time and she smirked right back, then he disappeared back into the crowd and she watched to see what he was going to do next.
He went back on stage and still as he finished the song he looked at her. Anya tossed her hair back behind her letting it flow entirely down her back and just smirked until he finished the song. He said some things to the crowd to which most of them cheered and then he knocked down the microphone and Anya laughed a little bit. She watched to see where he was going and he seemed to be headed towards the bar. She smirked a little bit. Suited her just fine, her drink could use a refill anyway.
She started walking that way slowly and determined. Her head held high, and she looked around for him. She didn't think that he would be disappearing in the crowd or anything, she was pretty sure that he wanted to see her as well. She was feeling the adrenaline pumping in her, she wanted to see where this night was going to go. She was amused to find out. She saw him over at corner of the bar and she grinned a little bit and walked over.
She sat down on a stool next to him and crossed her legs, which made her dress rise a little bit more to show off some thigh to him. She placed her empty glass on the bar and then smirked a bit over at him. She swung her hair to one side, the side away from him and looked at him, still smirking.
"That was an extremely interesting performance."she said with a grin. She traced her finger around the rim of her glass and she looked at him with her smirk getting bigger and bigger each time. "I particularly liked that last song."she was still smirking. She was being playful, flirting with him. She was excited to see how he was going to respond. Her green eyes were a light with mischief and she was amused as all hell, she was hoping that the amusement would continue, she would so hate to be disappointed.
